TBSE runs HS exam starts, Madhyamik from Saturday
Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) runs Higher Secondary (HS+2) including Madrassa Fazil Arts and Theology examinations started on Friday with peaceful note across Tripura.
The examinations for Madhyamik and Madrassa Alim examinations will begin from March 2nd (Saturday).
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha through a press statement wishes success to all candidates, who will appear in the both examinations. He also appealed to all parents, guardians and all citizens of the state to maintain peace and harmony across the state.
While, TBSE’s president Dr Dhananjoy Gon Choudhury on Friday said that altogether 25,345 candidates enrolled for HS examinations and on the first day of exam, the candidates appeared for English subject from 60 centres and 98 venues. Similarly, altogether candidates have also appeared for Madrassa Fazil exams.
He said that the number of candidates for both Madhyamik and HS examinations has decreased as 120 Vidyajyoti schools are now under the CBSE.
Altogether 38,531 candidates will appear for Madhyamik examinations from 1099 schools from all eight districts of the state. This year, the board has set up 69 examination centers and 144 venues for Madhyamik examinations.
Similarly, a total of 25,345 candidates including 24,263 ‘regular’ candidates l appeared for Higher Secondary examinations from 423 schools, said Dr Gon Choudhury.
He added that in the examinations for 2023 last, a total of 43,730 candidates had appeared from Madhyamik and 38, 125 more candidates had also appeared from HS examinations.
