Thieves looted AMC ward-27 office

Amidst growing theft incidents across Agartala including in houses, government offices and business establishments is continues and unabated and in its recent edition, suspected thieves have looted all office belongings including computers, cash amount and other office accessories from ward number-27 office of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), located at East Aralia under East Agartala police station.
When, on Monday morning , employees of the ward office arrived at the spot to join their duties, they noticed that the locks of the gate and one main door were broken and they immediately entered the office complex.
The AMC employees noticed that computers, printer, scanner and some cash amount collected for different civic services were looted and suspected thieves have also vandalized almirahs.
Soon after the incident was reported, police along with AMC officials and deputy mayor of AMC, Manika Das and councilor of AMC ward number-27, Subash Bhowmik rushed to the spot.
Police sources said that they have initiated an investigation and assured AMC authorities that soon they will be able arrest miscreants involved with looting the theft in AMC ward office.
