Three wanted thieves arrested by Bishalgarh police station

Three noted thieves involved with a stolen incident near 1st battalion of TSR at Gokulnagar area under Bishalgarh police station of Sepahijala district were arrested within 48-hours of the incident on Sunday.
Giving details officer-in-charge (OC) of Bishalgarh police station, Sanjit Sen said a gang of thieves raided a grocery store in the area adjacent to Gokulnagar TSR camp on September 20 night including Ali Ershad's house and shop located at the tri-junction of Gokulnagar area and stole a large quantity of grocery items including a submersible water pump machine from the shop and a cloth sewing machine from a house in the area.
Later, Ali Ershad lodged a complaint about the theft at the police station; the police took charge of the complaint and first arrested a young man named Samaresh Roy, father of Samarjit Roy of Gokulnagar area.
Based on the interrogation statement of the arrested thief, Mahadev Das alias Devjit of Gokulnagar Rastarmatha area, Jitendra Debbarma of Belbari was arrested for their involvement in the incident.
As per their interrogation statements, police have also recovered all stolen items including the water pump machines from their hideouts and all three thieves were produced before a local court under Section 331(4)/305(a)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
OC Sen said arrested thieves were involved with many stolen incidents in and round Bishalgarh and all were wanted in many cases.
