Three years old boy drowned to death at Konaban

In a heartrending incident, one three years old boy drowned to death at a small pond while playing digged at the courtyard of his house at Harihardola village of Konaban under Sepahijala district on Saturday.

Sources said the deceased boy was identified as Surajit Debnath (3), son of Kamal Debnath was playing at the courtyard of their house, but at a time in absence of other inmates of the house, the boy drowned in the small pond.

Within a few minutes, his parents and other relatives started searching in nearby areas, but after 30 minutes, his lifeless body floats in the pond. Then, the boy was shifted to Bishalgarh hospital, where the visiting doctor declared him brought dead.
