Tripura students shine in CBSE class 10 examinations with outstanding results
Students across Tripura have delivered an impressive performance in the CBSE Class 10 board examinations, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. Both government and private schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recorded remarkable achievements, reflecting consistent academic excellence across the state.
At Ramakrishna Mission School, Viveknagar, all 90 candidates performed exceptionally well, with the school registering an average score of 88 percent. Rajprit Chakraborty and Suman Patari jointly secured the top position with an outstanding 98.80 percent.
Modern Higher Secondary School, Malayanagar, also recorded a 100 percent pass rate among its 61 candidates. Of them, 47 students scored above 70 percent, with Aditi Saha emerging as the school topper with 96 percent marks.
Overall, the results indicate a strong academic showing, with 63 students scoring above 90 percent, 145 students above 80 percent, and 226 students securing more than 70 percent marks.
Sri Krishna Mission School, Bholananda Palli, Agartala, achieved a 100 percent pass rate among its 397 students. Udayan Pal topped the school with 97.4 percent marks. Four students—Debanjali Debnath, Samrat Deb, Swastika Pal, and Abhishek Chakraborty—jointly secured second position with 97.2 percent, while Shubhamoy Das stood third with 96.8 percent.
Pranavananda Vidyamandir, Kanchanpalli, run by Bharat Sevashram Sangha, continued its strong academic track record. Among its 158 candidates, Parama Debnath topped with 98.4 percent, followed by Arka Chakraborty with 97.4 percent and Anitej Chakraborty with 96.6 percent.
In North Tripura district, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.86 percent, with 689 out of 734 students successfully clearing the examination. Among the subdivisions, Panisagar recorded the highest pass rate at 97.26 percent, followed by Kanchanpur at 95.30 percent and Dharmanagar at 90.99 percent.
Five schools in the district achieved a perfect 100 percent pass rate: Kanchanpur English Medium H.S. School, Tilthai R.C. H.S. School, Damchhara H.S. School, Sabual H.S. School, and Damchhara English Medium H.S. School.
Several other schools also reported commendable results, including Satnala HS School, Padmapur HS School, Haflongchhara TE HS School, Nayapara English Medium HS School, BBI HS School, Kadamtala HS School, Kanchanpur HS School, Anandabazar HS School, Panisagar HS School, and Takkarai HS School.
Shiksha Bhavan Montessori School, located on Dharmanagar Shibbari Road, also posted satisfactory results, with all but four of its 70 candidates passing. Antrip Debnath secured the top position in the school with 94.4 percent marks.
Kanchanpur Government English Medium XII School recorded a 100 percent pass rate among its 58 candidates, with Pratiksha Barua emerging as the top scorer with 442 marks. Meanwhile, Naman Barua secured the highest 479 marks in Kanchanpur XII School. In the private CBSE secondary examination category, Jyotika Das topped with 460 marks.
The overall performance highlights Tripura’s growing academic strength, with students across districts demonstrating excellence and consistency in the CBSE board examinations.
