Woman body recovered in mysterious condition, strangulation suspects
Body of a woman was recovered on Saturday morning from living partner's house in Maheshkhala area under AD Nagar police station in mysterious condition.
After the incident, local villagers nabbed the suspected living partner and after thrashing him, handed over to police.
Police sources said that the deceased woman identified as Kalpana Debnath (45), who was living with her partner Shankar Debnath , by profession a carpenter of Kumar Para area of Jogendranagar for the last eight to ten years.
But, on Saturday morning her lifeless body was found at the floor of their rented house in Maheshkhala area near their bed with injury marks on her face, said police and added that they have also found rashes on the face of suspected accused.
Police also said that initial investigation suspect that the deceased might have been killed by strangulation and they sent the body to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy, has also arrested suspected accused living partner Shankar Debnath.
While, only daughter of the deceased, Puja Das claimed that her mother was killed by Shankar Debnath and she has also lodged her complaint before the police to get justice.
