Youth commits suicide after forced to continue illicit relationship with friend’s mother

In a tragic incident, a 23-years old graduate youth, by profession a rubber tapper committed suicide by hanging after he was unable to get rid off from love affairs with his friend’s mother.

Sources said that deceased youth Prasenjit Shil of Chattarejee Para village of Charilam under Sepahijala district had developed illicit love affairs with a woman, aged above 50 years, who was also incidentally, mother of his close friend.

The illicit relationship among youth and mother of his close friend continued for the last three years and allegedly Prasenjit had tried to close their relationship, by that woman often blackmailed him with some secret photos of their intimate relationship.

By realizing the mistake, Prasenjit, who wanted to get out of the relationship. But the pull of love is so deep. The lover does not want to lose her eternal companion, her lover. What's more, the lover started blackmailing her out of fear of losing her lover. As a result, the lover could not get out of the relationship.

On Friday night, one of the elder brother-in-laws of that woman with another boy threatened Prasenjit not to visit his friend's house and he should leave all contact with that woman.

In the end, the tragic outcome, the young lover committed suicide out of regret thinking about his friend by posting the incident on Facebook.

Sources said that Prasenjit before committing suicide by hanging himself, had posted a suicide note with some photos of her relationship with that woman through a ‘Facebook’ post.

After the incident was noticed by the other inmates of Prasenjit’s house, they shifted him to Charilam Hospital, but the doctor declared him brought dead. Later, the body was shifted to GB Hospital morgue for autopsy.

On Saturday, after the post-mortem, his mortal remains were handed over to his relatives for last rites.

Speaking with media persons, the family of the deceased boy demanded justice for the untimely death of their keen and legal action against the accused woman, who blackmailed him to continue their illicit relationship.
