The video, reportedly released by media affiliated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and broadcast on state-run Channel 3, carried the title "Where To Kill Barron Trump".

The segment, featuring the 20-year-old's movements, claimed that Barron is under close surveillance but alleged that an unidentified woman had once managed to get past Secret Service security and sit beside him during a private meeting.

The video further claimed that Barron uses voice and text communication through Xbox while away from his security detail, and alleged that accounts linked to his Xbox, FIFA video games and Discord had been identified.

Earlier video targeted Melania Trump

The latest threat follows another Iranian state television video targeting US First Lady Melania Trump last month.

Titled "Where To Kill Melania", the earlier video showed footage of Melania travelling in her motorcade and visiting locations in New York City.

It also identified luxury stores she reportedly visits and suggested that such trips could provide opportunities for attacks. The video even proposed using a nerve agent to poison clothes she might purchase.

The earlier broadcast ended with a warning directed at Barron: "This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us."

Barron and Melania under Secret Service protection

Barron and Melania Trump receive round-the-clock protection from the US Secret Service.

Trump properties, including the White House, Trump Tower in New York, his Bedminster golf club in New Jersey and Mar-a-Lago in Florida, are also subject to extensive security measures.

The broadcast's claims about Barron's movements and online accounts could not independently establish whether the information was genuine.

Threat comes amid escalating US-Iran tensions

The video surfaced as tensions between Washington and Tehran continued to escalate.

Trump said Monday that Iran was "collapsing" as his administration prepared to announce a new economic pressure campaign against the country.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had earlier described the campaign as an "economic D-Day" for Iran and warned that countries continuing to support Tehran could face international isolation.

Iran has rejected the US pressure campaign, describing the measures as evidence of Washington's military defeat and warning other countries against assisting the United States.
