American jet with 60 passengers collides with Army chopper midair, several deaths feared
Washington D.C./IBNS: An American Airlines Flight carrying 60 passengers collided with the Army chopper midair near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, media reports said.
Several are feared dead.
Eighteen bodies with no survivors have so far been recovered, BBC News reported.

No official confirmation on the number of casualties has been given by the authorities yet.
The collision occurred at around 9 am.
The jet, which was carrying four crew members, crashed in the Potomac river.
Three Army soldiers were onboard in the chopper.

US president Donald Trump said, "I have been fully briefed on the terrible accident which took place at Reagan National Airport. May God bless their souls.
"Thank you for the incredible work being done by our first responders. I am monitoring the situation and will provide more details as they arise."
