American school teacher, who used to wear revealing clothes, admits having sex with a teen student while other pupils acted as 'lookouts'
An American school teacher has admitted she used other students as 'lookouts' while she had sex with a 16-year-old.
The teacher, who was identified as Hailey Clifton-Carmack, 26, was arrested earlier this year after a student reported their illicit relationship to a school resource officer.
If proven, the teacher could spend the next four years in prison.
The teacher has already pleaded guilty of sexual conduct with the student.
The tartish teacher will now be on house arrest until her Oct. 11 sentencing, reported New York Post.
The boy's father Mark Creighton has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child since he did not report the incident despite knowing about the affair.
Clifton-Carmack’s plea is the latest turn in the sickening case, which began when a student witness reported the relationship between the teen and the Laquey High School math teacher last December, the American newspaper reported.
The witness showed the police the image of the victim's torn-up back which the accused committed while they were physically intimate with each other.
The math teacher — a divorced mother of two — had gotten in trouble with school officials before for getting too close to the students, the witness told New York Post.
According to reports, the teacher was often seen wearing revealing clothes.
She earlier denied all charges levelled against her but later police confiscated her phone and found text messages illuminating the relationship, the newspaper reported quoting court documents.
