Author claims she gave birth to tech entrepreneur Elon Musk's child five months ago
Author and influencer Ashley St. Clair has claimed she gave birth to entrepreneur Elon Musk's child.
She claimed the child was born five months ago.
"Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father," she wrote on X.
She said the identity was not released to protect the child's safety and privacy.
"In recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause," she said.
"I intend to allow our child to grow up in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honour our child's privacy and refrain from invasive reporting," she wrote on X.

Musk has not commented or reacted to her claims so far.
In another post, the influencer wrote: "In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists."
If her claims are proved to be true then she will be the fourth woman to have a child with the owner of X.
Musk shares five children with their first wife Justine Wilson.
The tech entrepreneur shares three children with Singer Grimes.
In 2021, Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis welcomed twins.
