Israel: Two killed in Holon stabbing incident, attacker neutralised
A stabbing incident in the Israeli city of Holon on Sunday left at least two people dead, media reports said.
The two killed were a 66-year-old woman and an “approximately 80-year-old man,”, medical officials told CNN.
The stabbing attack left two others injured.
Police told CNN the attacker was a West Bank resident and was “neutralized” at the scene.
“This was a complex and difficult terror attack. The casualties were at three separate locations, approximately 500 meters from each other,” Magen David Adom ambulance service medics told The Times of Israel.
One of the injured, a 26-year-old man, told CNN affiliate Channel 11 (Kan News) that he was walking his dog when a man ran at him and stabbed him in the shoulder.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu condoled the loss of lives in the incident.
He posted on X: "I send my condolences to the families of the murdered and best wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack in Holon."
He praised the cops for eliminating the suspected terrorist.
