Pakistan: Terrorists blow up gas pipeline in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Suspected terrorists blew up a gas pipeline in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat district in Pakistan, which resulted in the suspension of gas supply to the Punjab region, media reports said.

Lakki Marwat police spokesperson Aamir Khan told Dawn News that the terrorists detonated explosives planted on the pipeline within the limits of the Bhana Manjiwala area of the district.
“Officials have initiated a search operation in the area to locate the culprits,” he said.
He said the explosion created a large crater at the site.
The explosion halted gas supply to Punjab region.
After the explosion, the police and bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot.
They have commenced a search operation in the area.
Police officials told Dawn News that the location had previously experienced three similar attacks on the main transmission gas pipeline.
Lakki Marwat has witnessed an uptick in terrorism in recent months, creating instability.
