Trump again claims to settle the recent India-Pakistan conflict
US President Donald Trump on Sunday took credit for stopping 'five wars', including the clash between India and Pakistan in May.
He has repeated the claim of ending the recent war between the two South Asian neighbours several times.
Trump's latest claim was made just days after a White House official said the US President should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to stopping wars.
In a Truth Social post, Trump slammed a radio host and author, Charlamagne Tha God, and said he knew nothing about him or what he had done since coming to power.
Trump wrote: "The very wonderful and talented Lara Trump, whose show is a big ratings success, put racist sleazebag Charlamagne 'The God' (Why is he allowed to use the word “GOD” when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?)."
"He’s a Low IQ individual, has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth, and knows nothing about me or what I have done - like just ending 5 Wars, including a 31 year bloodbath between Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, where Seven Million people have died, and there was no end in sight," he said.
"He didn’t know that, or India and Pakistan or, wiping out Iran’s nuclear capabilities, or closing the horrendous open Border, or creating the greatest economy, where prices and Inflation have come way down, and where STUPID and CORRUPT JOE BIDEN set the record for doing the Worst Job as President, EVER," Trump said referring to the India-Pakistan conflict.
Though Trump repeatedly claimed he brokered a ceasefire deal between India and Pakistan in May, New Delhi has denied such assertions.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this week told his country's Parliament that no global leader asked New Delhi to stop Operation Sindoor, which was launched to avenge the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack.
"No global leader urged India to halt the operation. On the night of May 9, the Vice President of the United States attempted to contact me. He tried for an hour, but I was in a meeting with the military and was unable to answer.
"Later, I returned his call. During our conversation, the Vice President informed me that Pakistan was planning to launch a major offensive. In response, I firmly stated, "If this is Pakistan's intent, they will face dire consequences," Modi said.
The Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor hitting nine terrorist bases in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The military conflict escalated after Pakistan targeted civilians across the borders without any provocation to be aptly countered by the Indian military.
Nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) were targeted and destroyed in 25 minutes of Operation Sindoor.
The terrorists camps were the major training hubs of Pak-based terror groups- Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen.
