Prayagraj (UP): Atiq Ahmed, the Uttar Pradesh gangster politician, and his brother Ashraf Ahmed were killed on Saturday while on their way to a medical check-up in Uttar Prade,  news agency ANI reported.

Atiq Ahmed was in jail and had 100 crimnal cases against him. His son Asad Ahmed and aide Ghulam were killed in a police encounter two days ago on April 13.
