CBSE disaffiliates 25 schools in two hill districts of Manipur
Imphal : The Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi has withdrawn the affiliation which was recently granted to 25 different schools from Churachandpur and Kangpokpi district in ethnic torn Manipur.
According to a statement issued by Anjali Chongtham, the Joint Secretary (Education-S) Government of Manipur said “the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi has withdrawn the affiliation which was recently granted to the 25 schools with immediate effect, on the ground that the NOC submitted by these schools has not been issued by the authorised functionaries of the state government and for cancellation of affiliation requested by the state government”.
Further, the Joint Secretary also said that necessary action will be initiated against those responsible for flouting rules and regulations of the state government or of the central board of school education. It also warned that if any school is found not following the process in future, necessary action will be initiated against them also, apart from withdrawing of affiliation by competent authority.
