Finance Minister distributes job offers among 11 small saving inspectors

In order to fill up the vacant posts in the Small Savings, Group Insurance and Institutional Finance department, job offers to 11 Small Saving Inspectors were distributed among the selected candidates by Finance Minister Pranajit Sigha Roy on Saturday in Agartala.

During the job offer distribution programme held at the conference hall of the Directorate of Institutional Finance at Gurkhabasti area of Agartala, Minister Singha Roy said that the present state government committed to creation of employment opportunities for youths of the state by maintaining transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.

He said since the past seven years, the state government continuously fills up vacant posts through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC), JRBT and other departments through transparency and nowadays , youths are getting government jobs on the basis of their merit.

Government always stresses on a transparent recruitment drive among the deserving candidates only based on merit, said the Minister and added that the state government is continuously trying to fill up all vacant posts through different recruitment drives.

He urged the newly appointed inspectors to work with dedication and integrity by emphasizing the importance of their roles  for the growth and development of the department.

Mentioning fraudulent activities by different chit fund companies, Singha Roy said that before the present regime, thousands of people were looted by chit fund companies and as per the direction of the Union government, attached properties of chit fund companies are being auctioned and received fund are also being deposited in government accounts. He said that the government will take steps to return hard-earned money of people, which was looted by chit fund companies through fake assurances.

During the offer distribution programme, Finance secretary Apurba Roy and director of the department Rakhi Biswas and joint director of Small Savings, Group Insurance and Institutional Finance department, Amiliya Reang were also present.
