A solemn and literature-rich atmosphere marked the unveiling ceremony of five significant books authored by noted writer and litterateur and former police Inspector Dr. Pranab Sengupta at the Agartala Press Club on Sunday evening. The event, organized to celebrate the publication of books covering literature, law, history, and journalism, witnessed the presence of several distinguished personalities from different walks of life.

The chief guest of the programme was senior advocate Purushottam Roy Barman and also present were the author’s wife Purnima Sengupta and noted social worker and music artist Samanta Saha.

The guests highly praised Dr. Sengupta’s literary contributions, research-oriented works, and his efforts in promoting social awareness through his writings.
