Kerala police arrested three bank fraudsters from Teliamura

The Kerala Police in association with Tripura police have arrested three hackers, accused of hacking large amounts of money from the Teliamura area.
Police sources said that they conducted a midnight operation in three villages and picked up the bank fraudsters and took them to Kerala after obtaining a transit remand from a local court.
One Sanjit Jamatia of Kunjamura village under Teliamura police station, a government teacher by profession was identified as the mastermind of the entire hacking operation and two others were his accomplices. They are Suraj Debbarma of the Mungiyakami area and Kumar Jamatia of the Milingmala area under the Teliamura police station. Both were assured of ten percent share of the hacked amount.
One lady filed a complaint with the Kerala police about the hacking of Rs 5.51 lakh from her bank account. While investigating the case, police came to know that the amount had been transferred into three accounts in the Teliamura area and on the basis of the finding conducted the raid. Police also learned that some Nigerian hackers might have a link with this crime and the matter is now under investigation.
