Mastermind of bike lifters gang arrested from Bishalgarh
A mastermind of a motorbike lifting gang was arrested from Raghunathpur village of Bishalgarh under Sepahijala district on Saturday midnight.
Police sources said that arrested mastermind of bike lifter gang, Arabi Rahman alias Tanu was wanted in several bike lifting cases and based on a specific case registered at NCC police station, police started locating him. On Saturday night, a police team of Bishalgarh police station managed to locate him at his ancestor's house in Raghunathpur and conducted a raid in the midnight.
Police team arrested him and on Sunday morning handed over to the authorities of NCC police station for their custody.
Police sources added that arrested Arabi Rehman was involved in a number of motorbike stolen cases and his arrest will definitely provide information about other underground bike lifters.
