Ram Mandir a symbol of faith, unity, and trust: CM
In response to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha participated in the ‘Swachata Abhiyan’ at Kali Bari in Melarmath, Agartala, on Monday.
On Sunday also, Dr. Saha also took part in the Swachata Abhiyan at Jagannath Temple in Agartala.
While attending the Swachata Abhiyan on Monday, Dr. Saha extended congratulations to all the people of the state on ‘Makar Sankranti’.
"Yesterday, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan started, and in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal, we are cleaning the temple and its premises. This cleaning drive will continue for a week. Dr. Saha mentioned that people had been waiting for about 500 years, and finally, the consecration of the Ram Mandir is taking place. The Ram Mandir holds great significance as a place of trust and faith for the people. The consecration ceremony will be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ayodhya. Following this, the cleanliness drive will continue. Today, we are here at Kali Bari in Melarmath, and in the coming days, it will persist," he stated.
Dr Saha expressed the hope that all temples would become clean and beautiful before January 22nd.
