Tripura cabinet decides to recruit 112 more posts in different departments
Tripura cabinet on Saturday through many significant decisions has decided to recruit 112 posts in different departments along with hike of social wages to widows of World War-II martyrs
Addressing a press conference after the cabinet meeting, Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Saturday evening at Civil Secretariat in Agartala said that the state cabinet led by Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has decided to recruit 112 posts in different departments of the state government and among these posts 107 posts would be filled up through examinations and 5 posts would be filled up through promotions.
Giving details, Chowdhury said that altogether 50 posts of senior computer assistant (Group-C) under Directorate of Treasuries and Accounts of Finance department would be filled up through Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).
A total of 43 technical posts under the Printing and Stationary wing of the General Administration department with minimum qualification of Madhyamik passes with ITI course completion certification would be recruited through Joint Recruitment Board, Tripura (JRBT), said Chowdhury.
He said that the cabinet has also decided to recruit six posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and 4 posts of Group-D under the Election department through JRBT. Five posts of LDC(Group-C) would be filled up through promotion, said Chowdhury and added that four posts of Pharmacist (Allopathy) under Jal (Home) department would also be recruited.
He said that as budget declaration, the state cabinet give the approval for “Chief Minister’s Assistance to Unmarried and Dependent Daughter/Son” scheme and under this scheme, the 18-years above unmarried son and daughter of Armed forces, who martyred for the service of the country, will get Rs. 2000 social pension per month and only one daughter or the one son of the martyr will get the benefit.
The Minister said that a total of 12 widows of the martyrs of the second World War, who are getting Rs. 10,000 per month social pension, will now get Rs. 15,000 per month.
